About Me

Anna Lapp
This year, I'm going to spend roughly nine months in the gorgeous UK, and will be studying at Oxford University in Lady Margaret Hall. I’m nervous for the rigorous academics, the cultural differences, and alienating myself from home. But, I’m about to begin the adventure of a lifetime. One that will undoubtedly change me, and one that could impact the entire future of my life and career goals. Like an oculus, or a circular window, I am peering into Oxford as a visiting student. Because I come from a different country and education system, this year will serve me heaps of adventures--both academically and emotionally. I also just love alliteration and thought "the oculus in oxford" sounded like a majestic blog title.
